Launching the App
Learn how to start and run SoftSDC for the first time
Starting the Application
After successful installation, launch the app by clicking on the Desktop shortcut created automatically during the installation.
HINT: You don't have to login each time you restart the computer – the service will start automatically, and API will be available for invoice signing once you insert the smart card and provide PIN.
Once you have launched the app, the services will start automatically.
Initial Setup
When you launch SoftSDC for the first time, you'll be guided through a brief setup process:
- Service Initialization - The background services will start automatically
- License Selection - Choose between trial mode or enter your license key
- Smart Card Detection - Connect your smart card reader and insert your card
Running in Background
SoftSDC runs as both a user interface and a background service. This means:
- The API remains available even when the main window is minimized
- Tax computations continue processing in the background
- Your device can handle fiscalization requests without the app window being open
- The service starts automatically when your device boots up
This architecture ensures seamless integration with your POS systems and uninterrupted service availability.
